III. Trading and Sales Enterprises
Domestic Trading Enterprises
Enterprises engaged in the wholesale and retail of organic products, which need to establish an incoming inspection system to ensure the sold products are from certified enterprises.
Import and Export Enterprises
Enterprises importing organic products shall apply for certification to a certification body approved by CNCA and submit application materials in Chinese.
IV. Special Entity Types
Individual Farmers and Cooperatives
Individual farmers or farmers' professional cooperatives can apply for certification through joint certification or independent application.
Foreign-funded and Sino-foreign Joint Venture Enterprises
With the approval of CNCA, foreign-funded enterprises or Sino-foreign joint ventures can carry out China's organic certification business in China.
Scientific Research Institutions and Industry Associations
Scientific research institutions or industry associations with independent legal person qualifications can apply for certification qualifications to provide services for member enterprises.
Special Attention: Environmental and Product Testing
Production Environment: Production bases shall provide test reports on soil, water quality, and air.
Product Testing: Finished products shall be tested by inspection institutions with legal qualifications.
